DESCRIPTION:

WestNet Broadband was a small, independent start-up internet service provider based in Castlebar, County Mayo, which provided broadband service across rural networks in Mayo and Sligo.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to design a new logo corporate identity to project a professional business image, inspire customer confidence and add value.

After competitor research and analysis, and working closely with the client, Zetagram went on the design a symbol motif for the busines using the letter 'W' and 'N' custom drawn to form a wave shape that represented the wireless nature of the broadband network.

The logotype was a carefully selected sans-serif font, and was combined with the motif in both 3D and flat colour treatments.

To start promoting the company, business cards were designed for all the directors, and fleet graphics were designed for the first vans. They were cost-effectively produced using cut vinyl in standard colours on white vans, and prominently featured the wave logo to stand out on the road.

An infopack multipage brochure was written and designed by Zetagram to promote the concept of broadband internet access to potential customers in rural areas. The brochure was illustrated with sourced stock photography and vector icon graphics.

This brochure content was later edited, restructured and developed as a multipage, custom designed XHTML website with content management system (CMS), which included additional imagery and information for customer's reference.
