DESCRIPTION:

Personal Computer Science was an established trade computer supply business based in Charlestown, County Mayo which provided computers, peripherals and consumables to computer shops and repair technicians nationwide.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to rebuild and replace an existing trade B2B website that was not performing correctly and was proving expensive to maintain.

In order to create the new website style, Zetagram first updated the corporate identity of the business with a new logo composed of a motif using custom-drawn lettering, combined with technology styled backgrounds and logistics 'boxes'.

For the website design Zetagram worked closely with a programmer to create a proprietary shopping cart and ordering system, built in HTML4 and editable by the client through database updates.

Also built into the website was a proprietary mass HTML email client to send out limited offers to the customer base of users registered on the site.

To support the main website, Zetagram also designed businesses cards, softproof stationery headers and building signage.

As the business grew and markets changed, the client further commissioned Zetagram to develop the logo and corporate identity to work as a retail brand for their own line of computer peripherals.

These packaging designs were created to appear as technology products, but modular enough to be adapted to any new product lines required in the future.
