DESCRIPTION:

Mamma Rosa's Pizzeria was a small, fast food outlet based in Bundoran, County Donegal, which offered authentic family recipe pizzas, burgers and sandwiches from their shop located in the centre of town.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to create a fast food brand style around the authentic italian take-away pizzeria to increase market share in seaside town of Bundoran.

After local competitor research and analysis, Zetagram visited the premises to assess the needs of the client, shop location and to see any potential for marketing the business.

Because of the location of the pizzeria and the family atmosphere of the town, Zetagram custom developed a Mamma Rosa character motif, combined with carefully selected fonts to create a enclosed brand package.

The brand was further supported by red, white and green stripes for an Italian flavour and selected cartoon stock imagery where required. To demonstrate the brand to the client, the style was applied to staff clothing designs, packaging designs and promotional signage options.

The main face of the business was the traditional pillar style fascia of the shop, just off the main street in Bundoran. To make the fascia more visible it was repainted in a colour scheme of red, white and green, and signwritten inside and out with a combination of 3D raised letters, and inkjet graphics.

For customer reference and local advertising, a take-away menu leaflet and promotional flyer was designed by Zetagram, using the brand style developed for the signage and enhanced with fun cartoon style stock imagery.

As the busines grew, Zetagram was commissioned to create a new suite of design work for a second location. In addition to this custom pavement signage was designed to increase the visibility of the smaller second shop in its busy location.

To promote the business online a responsive HTML5 single page website was designed for each of the ROI and UK premises (either side of the border) using information developed from the menu leaflet and additional content written by Zetagram.
